What is your secret sauce?

There are several things that set me apart from other. Although I do not believe we are all unique I think everyone is different in little way yet the same in most ways.
I guess that leads me to my first characteristic which would be that I like to look at the world for what it is and not dress it up. What I mean by that is that I do not interpret things for what they could be just take them as they are.
My sense of humor is sort of unique as in I find comedy in most serious situations whether it be the irony or just how exaggerated it become by others.
My physical features are unique as well. Although it is said that there are people out in the world that look similar to me, I have multiple scar on my body that I believe set me apart from others.
My cleverness sets me apart. Not everyone thinks the same way. I like to think I am above average in intelligence (mainly because the average population is very stupid).
Lastly, I love to cook and washing dishes which is something my previous roommates would always say was weird and weird usually means uniqueness.
From my interviews I got some interesting feedback. One person said my lack of emotions sets me apart. Another said my assertiveness. My mother said my kindness. My dad said my intelligence. Lastly my brother said my scars.
I was not able to include the voice notes due to technical difficulty but the summary should be enough.
It is funny that most of what others said about me was not on my list but that makes sense since we do not see ourselves the same way others see us. In a way we all want to think we are the smartest or funniest person we know but the reality is that the majority of us are not,

  1. Hi Gonzalo,
I really enjoyed reading your "Secret Sauce" post because I could relate to it. I also tend to look at the world in a very realistic light without sugar coating. Moreover, I also noticed how differently people thought of me in comparison to how I view myself, usually I am a harsher critique of myself than others are of me. Overall, great post!
