There has been many times that I wanted to give up on an assignment due to how much time it would take and I simply just did not want to do it. Even though I felt like this I finished my work. I finished because I knew my grade depended on it and if I started slacking my grade would suffer.
My there tips would be to start the assignment at least a week before the due date. This will give you ample amount of time to get all the components of the assignment done. Second tip is to make a schedule and stick to it. This will organize your week and allow you to complete all of these assignment as well as any other commitments you might have. The third is to have fun with the class. It is an interesting course and you should try to make the most of it.
Hi Gonzalo,
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree on your advice to future students taking this course. The most important part in succeeding in this class would be setting yourself up for success, meaning planning out your time well and efficiently and starting on assignments earlier rather than later to give yourself enough time to complete the assignment without getting frustrated.
I agree with many of the ideas you listed out. I also began to list out in an agenda the tasks I have to accomplish and the due dates of assignments so I can be more accountable. This has also made me more organized and less stressed. You can try to proofread more and find small mistakes in grammar or spelling, but overall good post.
ReplyDeleteGonzalo,
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with your statement that scheduling your time and working well ahead of due dates is very important in this class. At the beginning of the semester, I found myself waiting until the last moment to begin my assignments, which put me under much more stress than it is worth. As a result, I too decided to give myself more time to work on assignments, and for this reason I have had a much more rewarding and stress-free experience in this course.
